BRAINSPOTTING

Brainspotting is a noninvasive treatment technique derived from EMDR. Having seamlessly integrated this treatment with clients across all backgrounds, it works well as a basis for sessions or as a resource to help clients ground.

Whether it’s for general clarity or a specific concern such as trauma, dream exploration, phobias, chronic pain, dissociation, or anxiety, BSP is a great addition to sessions. Neurodiverse clients and those with the autistic brain style have also found this technique to build on the strengths they already have, enabling them the ability to enjoy therapy in a way that is comfortable for them.

Clients also have the option to experience sessions that are primarily BSP-based. Feel free to inquire during your intake or consultation.

YOGA-BASED SESSIONS

Are you looking to improve your mind-body connection or feel more centered during moments of anxiety? I offer sessions emphasizing restorative yoga for clients who want to incorporate movement into their sessions. This service is no different in price compared to a typical individual session; notify me at least 24 hours before your scheduled session if this is the format you want to use.

EMDR

For clients who are ready for deeper work in their healing journey or have a single issue/incident they would like to focus on, EMDR sessions are a perfect option. EMDR relies on bilateral stimulation, be it visual, auditory, tactile, or a combination of the three.

With at least one of these senses activated, your brain is placed into a space similar to that of REM sleep. While in this unique space, your neural pathways are primed for optimal healing and the creation of softer connections when recalling painful memories or uncomfortable instances. Ultimately, the goal is to recall memories, beliefs, or thoughts with little to no discomfort.

Somatic Therapy

For clients who want to emphasize their body awareness, recognize emotional responses, and build resiliency tools, somatic therapy may be an intervention to explore. Interventions include but aren’t limited to: breathwork, titration and pendulation, body scans (sequencing), and grounding.
